The scene is created on a deep blue background with teal and magenta overtones. An intense yellow moon glows through the branches of slightly pink spring cherry blossoms and is reflected in the water. Japanese Forest Grass in shades of spring green flow over the rocks in the foreground.
The cherry blossoms and branches are hand painted with fabric paint and outlined with quilting. The sky is quilted with magenta thread in a horizontal water design. The water is quilted with the same design but to a smaller scale. The moon is stitched with a blanket stitch and quilted with a trade mark flowing star design. The grass is cut from nonwoven material, painted, fused and stitched down. Rocks are stitched with and all over triangle meander.
Materials are cottons and nonwovens. Polyester threads.
