This playful depiction of Rittenhouse Square with the gazebo is a familiar landmark for all who live in the area.

The brick walkways and trees provide a lush garden spot for all who are surrounded by tall buildings and concrete. We stroll to Rittenhouse Square multiple times each week for our afternoon coffee. Many people meet here for lunch and bridal parties are often seen with their photographers capturing scenes among the walkways and greenery.

This was created with hand dyed cottons, detailed with ink and quilted. It is mounted on black painted stretched canvas and in a float frame.
