I created this art quilt based on a photograph taken by my daughter of Lehman Auditorium. I spent many hours of my college years in this building doing what I loved most: making music. I would say that is true for my husband and my daughter, too. I was a piano major, Rod was a voice major, and we all spent much time rehearsing and performing in choral groups throughout our time there.

This is a landscape and architectural work created by fusing hand dyed and commercial batiks onto a background fabric. All are then stitched down and quilted. A Micron pen is used for fine detailing.

There is a hanging sleeve on the back.
