This art quilt beckons the viewer to imagine looking out on a morning landscape with the first frost of the season.

I’ve created three windows with slightly curving lines of silk intersecting them. The repetition of lines and layering of circles create depth and move one’s eye across the surface of the the work. The hand dyed nature of the teal background fabric creates subtle changes in color throughout the work.

Several areas of the quilt have repeated rows of small white circles creating texture.

There is a hanging sleeve on the back.
