This image has been floating in my head for a few months. I've created lots of aspens in my work but I wanted the color scheme to be blue and copper.

The hand dyed fabric was such an inspiration with a subtle drama. I cut the aspen trunks from a bluish grey batik and kept the markings grey rather than my typical black. The leaves were created from a metallic gold/copper fabric, fused onto the back ground and stitched. The copper foliage at the bottom was painted with textile paint and outline stitched.

There is a hanging sleeve on the back and a bamboo textile hanger is included. Shipping is free in the continental US. Please contact me for a shipping invoice for other locations.
